Screenshot to HTML Scaffold

Embed a screenshot into a basic Tailwind HTML starter file — a scaffolding helper, not AI code generation yet.

Processing Mode

100% client-side via the browser's Canvas API and lightweight JS libraries — no file chunks are ever uploaded.

Privacy & Speed

Zero latency from uploads. Nothing you drop or paste here is sent to a server.

Local Hardware

Metadata parsing and pixel recompression run through your browser's Canvas rendering — no server-side image pipeline.

This is an early-stage scaffolding tool, and it's important to describe it accurately: it does not currently use AI to analyze your screenshot and generate matching layout code. What it does is read the image's dimensions and drop it into a small, fixed Tailwind HTML template as a reference <img> — a starting file you can open next to your screenshot while you build the real layout by hand, not a finished translation of the design into code.

What you actually get

A short HTML snippet with a centered card container, your uploaded image embedded inside it, and a caption showing the image's pixel dimensions. There's no layout analysis, no color extraction, no component detection, and no framework choice (React, plain HTML, etc.) — every export uses the same fixed scaffold regardless of what's in the screenshot.

Why we're publishing this honestly instead of just describing the idea

"Screenshot to code" is a genuinely useful category of tool when it's backed by a real vision model that can identify layout structure, spacing, and components from an image — that's meaningfully harder to build well than it sounds, and this current version doesn't attempt it yet. Rather than describe capability the tool doesn't have, this page is here to set the right expectation: right now, this saves you the step of creating a boilerplate file and dropping your reference image in — it doesn't write your layout for you.

Common uses (as it works today)

  • Quickly scaffolding an HTML file with your design reference embedded, to build against manually
  • Getting an image's exact pixel dimensions without opening an image editor

FAQ

Does this use AI to analyze my screenshot and generate matching code?

Not currently — it embeds your screenshot into a fixed HTML template rather than analyzing the design and generating layout code from it.

Can I choose an output framework (React, plain HTML, Vue)?

Not yet — every export uses the same fixed Tailwind HTML scaffold.

Does it count against my AI usage quota?

No — since there's no AI model involved in the current version, this doesn't use any AI quota.

Is my screenshot uploaded to a server?

No — reading the image dimensions and generating the scaffold both happen entirely in your browser.
