Screenshot Mockup (Single Frame)

Composite a screenshot into a simple dark rounded frame for presentations, all processed locally.

Processing Mode

100% client-side via the browser's Canvas API and JavaScript-based rules — no file chunks are ever uploaded.

Privacy & Speed

Zero latency from uploads. Nothing you drop or paste here is sent to a server.

Local Hardware

Rendering and text-based optimizations run in your browser — no server-side design pipeline.

This is a simple, single-frame compositing tool, not a device-mockup library. It draws one fixed dark gradient background, places a rounded dark frame in the center, and composites your screenshot inside it — the same visual treatment every time, regardless of what device your screenshot is actually from. It doesn't currently detect or match specific device shapes (an iPhone's notch, a MacBook's bezel, a tablet's proportions); it's a generic "screen inside a frame" presentation, useful for giving a flat screenshot visual context without needing a design tool.

What it actually produces

One 1400×900 composite: a dark gradient backdrop, a rounded dark frame, and your image scaled to fit inside that frame's fixed screen area. There's no device selection (iPhone, MacBook, Android, browser chrome), no batch processing, and no custom background color or gradient picker — every export uses the same layout and color scheme.

When this is genuinely useful

For giving a bare screenshot some visual weight on a landing page, in a deck, or in a README — a screenshot inside any frame reads as "a product" more than a raw rectangle does, even if the frame isn't a pixel-accurate replica of a specific device. If you just need "make this screenshot look presented" quickly, this does that in one click.

When you need something else

If you specifically need an App Store or Google Play-compliant device frame, a recognizable iPhone/MacBook/Android silhouette, or several different screenshots composited at once for a marketing set, this tool's single fixed frame won't get you there — a dedicated device-mockup generator with real device templates is the right tool for that job.

Common uses

  • Adding quick visual context to a screenshot for a README, blog post, or internal deck
  • Presenting a UI screenshot with some visual weight on a marketing page draft
  • A fast placeholder mockup before producing final, device-accurate marketing assets elsewhere

FAQ

Can I choose a specific device frame (iPhone, MacBook, Android)?

Not currently — every export uses the same fixed dark rounded-frame composite regardless of what device the screenshot came from.

Can I process multiple screenshots at once?

Not yet — this processes one image per export.

Can I change the background color or use a gradient?

Not currently — the background is a fixed dark gradient.

Is my screenshot uploaded anywhere?

No — compositing happens entirely via the Canvas API in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
